3rd Annual Richard Stephenson 2-Man Ramble Wraps Up Another Successful Weekend
Gallatin, TN — The 3rd Annual Richard Stephenson 2-Man Ramble, proudly hosted by the Gallatin Quarterback Club, is officially in the books — and what a tournament it was!
Despite early rain that shortened the morning flights, the weather cleared beautifully for the afternoon rounds, and we ended the weekend with sunshine and strong community spirit. This year’s event once again brought together outstanding golf, local pride, and unwavering support for Gallatin Green Wave athletics.
Congratulations to our First Flight champions, Jay Swan and Matt Cook, and to our overall champions, Seth Mallard and Joel Mallard, for a terrific two days of golf. In the rain-impacted morning flights, hats off to our Second Flight winners, Billy Nolen and Don Porter, and our Third Flight champions, Steve Harrell and Mark Pruett. Well played, gentlemen!
We offer our sincere thanks to every player, volunteer, and sponsor who made this year’s event such a success — and a special shoutout to Mickey Armstrong for his leadership and organization. Events like this don’t happen without tireless work behind the scenes, and Mickey once again delivered in a big way.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to Tony Smart and Chris Stump of Liberty Construction Group, who returned as our corporate sponsor again this year. Your continued support is deeply appreciated.
To our local hole sponsors, co-sponsors, and everyone who contributed — thank you. Gallatin High School athletics and the Quarterback Club thrive because of the amazing support from our community. We encourage everyone to support the businesses and individuals who support the Green Wave — they make all the difference.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s Ramble! Until then, thanks again to all — and Go Green Wave!
